Momenta Heads To FotoWeek DC in November
Get ready for an intense day of photo business skills!
This exclusive workshop will help you grow your nonprofit clientele and create a funding plan for your dream projects. Our business skills curriculum is the cornerstone of the Momenta Workshops model. With our lectures, panel discussion, handouts, and guided question-and-answer sessions, you will join a group of like-minded photographers to explore nonprofit business models.
Hosted by the Leica Store located steps from Gallery Place/Chinatown, our workshop happen during the exciting FotoWeek DC festivities. The citywide celebration features exhibitions, programs, and events highlighting world-class photography, and providing exposure for photographers working locally and worldwide.
Our program features a panel discussion with photographers Lucian Perkins and John Harrington as well as nonprofit photo editor and expert Laura Elizabeth Pohl. The “Lunch With Leicas” program provides attendees with an opportunity to take a Leica camera out into the city for two hours to photograph at lunchtime. Our core lectures are aimed at taking your business skills to an even higher level to gain paying nonprofit clients and cultivate new ways to find grants and funding.
