Our alumni can vouch for us when we say attending a Momenta workshop means becoming part of the “Momenta family.”

In our family, we really love to eat.  Anyone who has taken our workshops know: trying local foods and sharing our favorite recipes is a big part of our workshop experience. Therefore, it was only natural when someone suggested we put together a Momenta Family Recipe Book.

The genesis of the Momenta Family Recipe Book

It all started with a sweet bit of family history on our Bali: Island of the Gods workshop.

The story goes something like this… Momenta Founder Chris Anderson is a popcorn expert and somewhat famous among friends and colleagues for his popcorn. Chris got his hands on some popcorn in Bali and made it for the whole workshop as well as all the kitchen staff. The crowd went wild for it and requested it every night for editing sessions. After numerous nightly episodes of brilliant, popcorn-induced editing, the students reached a consensus: they must have the recipe. Of course, Chris invited them in for a demonstration. Next thing you know, everybody began to share recipes! Thus, the first official Momenta Family recipe exchange was born.

To keep this recipe exchange reaching its fullest potential, we have created a Pinterest account to house these delectable dishes as well as photographic fun topics. On both our blog and Pinterest, you will find everything from easy-to-make dishes to “eye candy,” Momenta’s ode to downright beautiful food.
