The Destination Philosophy
Small groups. Breathtaking scenery. More one-on-one.
The Leica Destinations are designed for passionate photographers and enthusiasts who want to travel with our team of professionals. We have carefully chosen our itinerary to highlight the country’s people, culture and beauty so you can fully dive into your photographic creativity.
You won’t be pushed on and off a bus by a tour guide or hustled from place to place. Instead, we cultivate each day’s itinerary so you will be able to explore the locations we have scouted for you and find your own perfect photographic moments. You will travel in small groups to hidden gems in each location, along with an incredible support team of guides and instructors.
We will stay in comfortable locales during each leg of our journey. Each location will make you feel like you’re a part of a magnificent community.
Romania as the locals see it.
Those who travel with Momenta know that when we travel somewhere it’s always a personal and intimate experience. For this reason, we’ve partnered with a very special group of photography-specific tour guides for an adventure that will open your eyes to the glories of rural and modern Romania. Small bed and breakfasts will welcome you like family as you explore tiny villages with friendly residents. Combined with Dotan Saguy’s expertise in photographic exploration, this is one workshop you won’t want to miss. We’re dedicated to sharing an unmatched photographic experience with you.
The Leica Akademie USA is famous for exceptional travel experiences.
The production of a Leica camera is an exploration in excellence and the Leica Destination trips reflect that feeling in each location we explore. You are taking a journey with us to our favorite places on earth and we know you will fall in love with them like we have.
If you would like to discuss this workshop more depth with our production team, our staff can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or +1 254 292 3344 (US) to speak to someone directly. We are happy to answer any of your questions about our collaboration on this exciting Leica Photography Workshop Series.
Meet Your Instructors
Our Travel Itinerary
Cluj-Napoca is the second largest city in Romania and where we will begin and end our trip. It boasts thriving cultural, industrial, and business centers as well as the country’s largest university, Babeș-Bolyai University. The city streets are welcoming to tourists and it is nationally renowned for its botanical gardens, food scene, and culture.
One of the most rural areas of Romania. Our guides will take you to a place that lies in stark contrast to cities like Bucharest or Cluj. Know as the “land of wood” as it is the primary material used for houses, entrance gates, and even churches. The culture in the Maramures region runs deep in the people’s veins and sharing this space with them will provide intimate insights into this remarkable area.
